December 8th .Virginia Tech shooting investigators have ruled out a possible history between the gunman and the police officer he killed on Thursday, This is the school second shooting in previous years.

Saturday, Decemeber 10 The Heisman Trophy winner was announced on ESPN, and in Times Square that Robert Griffin III known as (RG3) won. Griffin plays for the Baylor Bear Cats.

Head football Coach Turner Gill Fired

University of Kansas football coach Turner Gill was fired Nov , due to an unsuccessful football career at KU. The coach only worked at KU for two years, and didn't have a lot of time to make changes. Gill signed a  10 million dollar contract with the university. This is the statement from the University of Kansas.
"After a thorough evaluation of our football program, I have concluded that new leadership is necessary to place us on the path toward competing for championships in the Big 12 Conference," said KU Athletic Director Sheahon Zenger. "I come to this conclusion reluctantly because I have the utmost respect for Turner Gill as a quality individual who wants only the best for the young men he coaches."
